Application Notes:
QSYW1000 is a low molecular weight acrylic polymer with a relative molecular weight (Mw) of 2000-3000. This polymer does not contain phosphorus and can be used in a phosphorus-free or low-phosphorus environment. QSYW1000 is a general scale inhibitor and dispersant, which is specially developed to prevent calcium carbonate scaling in water. It can directly act on the crystallization process to prevent crystal growth and effectively inhibit the precipitation of low-solubility salts such as calcium carbonate, calcium oxalate, calcium sulfate, and barium sulfate. It can also disperse scaling particles to prevent them from depositing on the heat exchanger or membrane surface. QSYW1000 has strong stability. Under normal temperature conditions, QSYW1000 is stable and effective in a wide range of hardness, alkalinity and pH values. It is suitable for stable operation in high-salt, high-calcium, and pH-fluctuating water. QSYW1000 also has strong stability to chlorine and can be used in combination with a variety of chlorine-containing biocide. At the same time, QSYW1000 also has good barium sulfate and stronium sulfate inhibition performance.
Recommended Uses:
1. Industrial water treatment: General industrial water treatment scale inhibitor, suitable for scale inhibition (especially calcium carbonate scale inhibition) in open and 150℃ medium and low temperature closed-loop cooling circuits, generally used in combination with other agents. When used alone, the recommended dosage is 5-15ppm.
2. Dispersant for boiler scale control: Suitable for use as a scale inhibitor dispersant in low temperature and low-pressure boilers, and can also be used as a boiler cleaning agent in combination with other agents.
3. Oilfield water treatment: Used in water containing heavy metals such as barium salts and strontium salts at 150℃ to prevent scaling of oilfield formations and heat exchange equipment.
4. Membrane scale inhibitor: Suitable for use as an ion exchange membrane scale inhibitor used under high hardness and high alkalinity conditions to prevent scaling and clogging on the surface of the ion membrane.
5. Seawater desalination: Suitable for use as a scale inhibitor dispersant for countercurrent heat exchangers and reverse osmosis membranes.
6. pH buffer: Suitable for use as a pH buffer in formulated products.
7. To avoid preciptation QSYW1000 can not be mixed with PCA.

Package and Storage:
Normally in 200L HDPE drum and 1000L IBC.
Storage for one year in shady room and dry place.
QSYW1000 will have a slightly turbid appearance after long-term storage. This change in appearance is caused by the solubility of low molecular weight QSYW1000, but it won't affect the performance. The turbidity can be eliminated by heating it to 80℃ or diluting the polymer to a solid content of ≤30%.
Freezing or long-term refrigeration of QSYW1000 may cause the separation of some components.
Although it does not damage the product performance, it is recommended not to freeze the polymer to avoid remixing the product. The best shelf life is within half a year and the product is valid for 1 year.
QSYW1000 should be stored away from light. Long-term light or high temperature conditions will cause the product color darker, but will not affect the performance.
Safety Protection:
Acidity, avoid contact with eye and skin, once contacted, flush with water.
